| How CRI Works
CRI offers assistance through speaking events, workshops, mediation and consultation. We are available to meet with church boards as well as other organizations, missions groups and businesses.
When Mediation is Needed
CRI offers mediation services to both organizations and individuals. When formal mediation is needed the responsible parties must agree to sign a mediation form. The mediation form is available upon request.
CRI Workshops
CRI offers conflict training through two workshops. The Six Keys Workshop offers training in how to assume a conciliatory stance when confronted with a potential conflict. The Advanced Conflict Training Workshop addresses the five major conflict management styles. Both workshops are excellent training modules for church leaders, providing needed instruction for both paid and volunteer staff. Each workshop can be conducted in a half-day or full day format.
CRI Resources
CRI provides two resources related to conflict. One is titled Conflict Management Style in Paul's Epistles. This publication summarizes the conflict management techniques found in Paul's Epistles. The other is titled The Marriage and Family Defense Manual. The manual is an excellent resource to strengthen the home.
Clarification of Services
The services of CRI are available to all churches and organizations. However, Jim is also available to work with individuals in the area of conflict. He is not a licensed counselor and this must be kept in mind as he assists in conflict situations. The services of CRI should not be misconstrued to take the place of a clinical counseling center.
Fees You can Afford
The fees for CRI are flexible and include travel expenses, materials and an honorarium for Jim's services. A fee schedule can be found on the website.
